The overall objective and goal of the project “InServNet” is to foster public-private-partner co-operation and long-term partnership on regional as well as interregional level. One concrete field of public-private-collaboration on an interregional level that the project “InServNet” targets is Joint Service Innovation (JSI).
Moving beyond classical product orientation to a market strategy
with innovative services offers tremendous chances to the SMEs in
markets that get more and homogenous and products more comparable.
Also SMEs have the chance to compete through service innovation.
The public partners benefit through the creation of new kinds of
services and new ways of delivery for the citizens. But service
innovation is a development process that can only be undertaken
systematically. We aim at stimulating processes of JSI, i.e.
of public and private partners jointly developing ideas and
strategies, assessing the sustainable profitability of the future
service, planning the service in detail, translating into processes
and structures and, finally, rolling-out, accompanied by a
transparent controlling of the success.
Pilot Study 1(E-Learning) and Pilot Study 2 (Joint Project
Development) form an integrative part of the sustainable
interregional development model.
