The platform COREGIO has been initiated by the Provincial Government of Styria, the Economic Chamber of Styria, the Federation of Styrian Industry, the city of Graz, the Telepark Bärnbach, the Energy Innovation Centre of Weiz and the Innovation Cluster Styria.

It is the objective of the platform to facilitate the cooperation of Styria and the European partner regions and to enhance the coordination of various transnational activities and projects.


Therefore, this platform will be available not only for Styrian organisations, but also for all partner organisations of Styria, in order to implement and conduct transnational activities conjointly.

On this platform you may find all economy projects of Styrian organisations in the field of economic policy with international partners, information about the international partners, current information about events in the context of these projects and information data bases about the most important partner countries of Styria, as well as the most important financing programmes for transnational activities.

The compilation of the contents and the maintenance (administration) of the platform are handled directly by the Styrian organisations conducting transnational projects or participating in such.

In addition, Coregio.net offers project working platforms to which only members of the respective projects have access via password and which serve the common implementation of international projects including detailed project information, member lists, schedule, reports and accounting. This new IT device is supposed to facilitate the transnational implementation of projects considerably.
